Thinking outside the box creates efficiencies that can’t always be achieved by members on their own, with each initiative designed to make a significant contribution to our member’s bottom line.

Learning Opportunities

Informal Training

The Knowledge Ecosystem has deliberately thrown out traditional training models. Our focus is on sharing skills and knowledge, not classrooms and certificates. Our training spaces are state-of-the art, practical workspaces designed to impart skills efficiently and use time wisely so people can get back to work with their new skills.

To date, our focus has been on training for the coffee industry, including Barista Training and Roasting Masterclasses. We are  expanding our informal training programs as our members identify their needs.

A number of workshops are always being planned based on the needs identified by our members. The workshops are developed by experts in their specific fields and available as live, in-person or virtual events.

Regular networking events are held with carefully selected themes and speakers. Members are encouraged to attend through discounted rate and exclusive offers.

The Coffee Commune will also be hosting regular Think Tank sessions, where groups of members are invited to take part in a roundtable of ideas. Past topics include discussions on new products or services, technology initiatives, and combatting the shortage of skilled labour.
