Wake Up and Smell the Coffee: Advocacy Paper

A Pathway to a Secure and Sustainable Future for the Hospitality Industry

We’re excited to share our newly released Advocacy Report for Small Business, titled “Wake Up and Smell the Coffee,” which stems from our Industry Roundtables held in August. This document reflects the valuable insights gathered from our members, partners, and roasters and outlines our commitment to creating meaningful change in our industry.

At the Coffee Commune, we are dedicated to advocating for a sustainable future in the hospitality sector. We have begun our journey towards this goal by engaging with local councils and collaborating with specialists to strategically address the critical issues affecting our community. Our team is fully committed to advocating on behalf of the industry to create a viable and sustainable operating environment for everyone.

This paper serves as our guiding document in discussions with all levels of government. We firmly believe it is essential to address the core challenges facing our industry, and we are actively urging the government to implement solutions that are both achievable and necessary for the future of our community.

We invite our valued Members to download the Advocacy Paper through our Coffee Commune Connect App. Members have been sent a special link to download. If you would like to receive the link again, contact our Membership Manager, Shari.

Together, let’s work towards a more sustainable future for the hospitality industry!
