Coffee Commune On Today Show Advocating for Small Businesses

On a recent Today Show segment, our MD Phillip Di Bella of the Coffee Commune spotlighted the severe challenges facing small businesses, particularly coffee shops. With coffee prices nearing $7, Phil stressed the urgent need for change.

“We’re seeing unprecedented cost increases across the board,” highlighting that simultaneous hikes in goods, wages, and utilities are unsustainable for both businesses and consumers. The Coffee Commune is leveraging media exposure to advocate for policy reforms.

“We need a review of payroll tax thresholds and energy costs,”. While also pushing for local councils to adopt supportive town planning and procurement practices to help small businesses survive.

Media attention has amplified the Coffee Commune’s message, bringing public awareness to these critical issues and putting pressure on policymakers to provide tangible support for small businesses.
